Sickly baby....

Well as all you new moms know babies get sick! Well we have been dealing with so much in the last month. Khloe had her first big cold, snotty coughing the whole nine yards. Then we found out she had a touch of bronchitis (sp?) and have learned how to give her breathing treatments, she did not like those at ALL! Then she woke up last Sunday morning with crusty eye lashes....turns out she picked up pink eye from the day care! Oh, she HATES having those drops in her eyes!!! Who knew a baby could could have such strength in clinching her eye lids together??!! Paul said he thought he might have bruised her face her was trying so hard to pry her eyes open last Friday!! LOL! Well anyways we are just dealing with the normal first everythings!! We are learning so much, Khloe's Dr. Lori said when we brought her in to check her eyes "Wow Khloe, you are just becoming such a frequent flyer around here" she laughed and we laughed...but it wasn't really funny at all!

Some more updates Khloe is now able to roll over on her her own and she is able to sit up by herself, which we are so excited about...now it's time to see her crawl...any day now!
Here are a few pics I have taken lately (sorry I have not been good about this lately) I will update soon after we take some pics of her first Halloween later today!

This was how I found the two of them one Saturday morning after Khloe had woken up every 2 hours coughing and coughing and crying (2am, 4am, 6am) I guess Paul did not want to risk one of us having to get up again. They were both snoring! It was so precious!

Khloe with her new FABULOUS winter hat, perfect for our nightly runs together!

Khloe enjoying eating her new toy she got from Eli & Michelle the previous night! While daddy is trying to watch his beloved Formula 1 race! :)

And here she is.....sitting up all by herself!!! Yeah what a big girl!!! On her beautiful new blanket my Aunt Donna who sent this a couple of weeks ago! It has her name engraved on it!
Oh, this was her outfit she wore last Sunday to Church, she did very good. This was the first time she did not sleep thru the whole service as she had done previously. We came prepared with toys...I think she enjoyed people watching the most. She peeked thru the chairs and was starring at the family behind us. They were Asian I think that the the first time she had seen anyone of Asian decent (she was really starring)

Khloe's 2nd photo shoot!

Well everyone here are the latest pictures from our photo shoot with Aunt Angie over Labor Day weekend up in Indianapolis. Angie's skills and abilities to capture the best of our Khloe's smiles and expressions continue to amaze and impress us! I am so glad that Angie has taken her hobby and turned it into creating life long memories we can always look back on and treasure. Enjoy!

This is Khloe's 1st Halloween outfit we bought early so we could have it for these pictures! The carrot doubles as a rattle! She looks so adorable in it!

What a sweet smiley girl. She is truly such a great happy baby!

Look at these sweet rolls! I know she will kill us one day for these pictures!

This outfit was so cute. It is handmade, we couldn't resist buying this for her photo shoot...purple, hot pink tu-tu, and her name across the chest...PERFECT!

Thank you so very much Angie, WE LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these pictures!

God humbles you when you need it the most!

The last couple of weeks I have been more EXHAUSTED than I have ever been in my entire life!!! Many nights I have almost cried ( honestly I have cried privately) and thought how can I continue to function, work, take care of myself, Khloe and everything else a working mom and wife needs to do and try not to fall asleep at every red light. To be honest I may have been having a pitty party for myself, but this past week I realized how blessed Paul and I REALLY are! A co-worker of mine just found out his wife has cancer and she has been in the hospital for over 2 weeks. They have 2 beautiful children a boy and a girl, who are the most well behaved children I have ever heard of. This co-worker broke down in tears in my office as he was telling us the news of his wife, and it suddenly dawned on me the heavy load he was carrying around on his shoulders. He not only has to be a strong husband for his wife who is probably scared to death, he has to be a strong Daddy & Mommy for his kids. Get them to school every morning, come to work, pick them up from school, help them do their homework, feed them dinner, baths, and then all go to the hospital to visit their mommy. I was instantly humbled by how selfish I was for feeling the way I had been towards my own situation. My heart was broken and went out to him and his family for how overwhelming his stress level must be. No where in his day does he have the chance to sit and digest the news or think about what the road ahead for his family may look like...WOW, I can't even imagine how he has the mental/physical strength to wake up every day!! " Thank you GOD for showing me how small my stress/problems are compared to others. Thank you GOD for humbling me right in the midst of my pitty party, and helping me to see how good I really have it"
Again....Paul and I are truly blessed! Myself and another manager have been taking turns making dinner for him and the kids so this is one less thing he has to worry about, his kids will have a good home-cooked meal each night. I am sure we will need to be there and continue to provide dinner for some weeks to come. That is the least we can do to bless someone else in this horrible time in their lives, I would only pray and wish someone would do the same for Paul & Khloe if the role's were reversed.
Here are some new pictures from this past week ( April: no pink bouncy chair in any of these pics ;)

The new "high top" socks

The "Ballerina" socks, they came six to a pack light pink, light purple, etc.

I just love this outfit & bow combo! (notice the light aqua blue ballerina socks) :)

This is one of her new outfits Granna got her when we were in Indy w/ matching bow and all!

Daddy doing some story time with "Khloe bear"

She loves to touch every page and she tries to eat them if you let her :)

This was one of the outfits Paul & I bought her way before she was born. The shirt read "Ta-Da cuteness has arrived" with purple velvet pants...Too cute!

One of her after bath time in her new festive Halloween Pajama's...she is so tired and ready for her last bottle!

"Come on Mommy, quit playing around give me that bottle, I see it sitting on the table"

We love you guys very much, thanks for checking in on us! I will update again soon!
