Ok so now that I am having to go to the Dr's office every single week now. My last appt was on Tuesday 3/23/10 with a Dr. Garcia who is one of the Dr's in the group that I have not met yet. Very nice, sweet man I like him a lot. My blood pressure is a little high so he is going to be watching it closely, he made the comment "oh wow we are going to have a big baby" and of course my rely was, no Dr. I think I am just really fat. He smiled and politely said no you are measuring very large. He says my uterus is measuring 40 cm and I should only be measuring 36 or 37. Last week the midwife who measured me said I was right at 35 cm so who is correct? He ordered me to have an ultrasound done next Wednesday so we can see an approximate weight for Khloe so we won't have any surprises....what does that mean? I'm not too clear, isn't every baby's weight a surprise?? Oh well I guess we will see next week. Also I am 1 cm dialated (sp?) and my lining has started to thin out. He tell me I was a certian % effaced (sp?) but I have forgotten the % now because at the same time he was doing a vaginal exam and said "oh ok here is her head", I said wow you can actually feel her head? "Yep I am touching her head"....CRAZY!! I was so excited that I forgot the other details he said!!
Ok so our little "boy" Maxx had his eye surgery on Wednesday 3/25 to repair his "cherry eye" in the left eye. It was very scary for us we had to drop him off early in the morning and he was going to be sedated. When we went to pick him up at the animal hospital they had schave the front of one of his legs about 2-3 inches and you could see 2 red dots where they had his IV in him, it was so painful to look at. (Oh yeah one more detail when I dropped him off at the hospital in the morning he was horrible in the car, wouldn't sit down wouldn't listen, was so loud with this horrible loud noise he makes in the car, he was sooooo excited to be going for a car ride even though we both knew he should not be as excited as he was especially since he was going to have major surgery done) When they brought him out we both leaned down to pet him and he just wimpered with his huge cone around his neck as if to say "Please take me out of here, I promise I will be good in the car next time" It broke our hearts to see him so weak and miserable. He was so lathargic after we got him home he had no energy to even jump on the couch.
