Khloe's 1st week at Day care

Well this was Khloe's first week at day care, yet another hurtle we made it thru. She did very good, of course she would, she is so easy going. Paul and I were a wreck! The first day she went thru 5 outfits due to the fact that she was not able to wear her bib thru out the day, and she spits up A LOT! So I was able to get a note from her Dr. saying to allow her to wear a bib through out the day which made it much easier on her teachers to keep her dry. But she is not eating too good while she is at day care 2 oz here and there the most she has eaten at one time is 5 oz...for those of you who don't know she is now eating 8oz bottles. So of course we were a little concerned but she is eating her whole bottles for us when she is home. So overall she is getting the amount of food total she needs for the whole day. She came home on Thursday very congested coughing and sneezing a lot but this is to expected. She's not running a fever though so right now we are not too worried, we know this is normal for babies and is actually good for her immune system to get colds to build up her immune system. But, it still is never good when your little peanut sounds so stuffy!

I have added some new pics below of her over the last week or so. The one of me holding her in her jean dress and red shirt is her on her first day at "school". Pardon my appearance I had not finished putting my make-up on...LOL! There are also some sweet ones of Khloe and Daddy at her nightly bath time, she loves her bath time with Daddy! Enjoy!

She just lights up when Daddy comes home from work!

"Super Daddy"

Hi everyone, I have just come back from a 4 day business trip for some sales training up at our new Shelton CT property and I AM SO GLAD TO BE HOME! I missed my little peanut and my husband terribly. But I must say Paul did a fabulous job as "Super Daddy" for these past few days. He said one night I think it was the second night he had finally gotten Khloe down for bed and it was after 11pm, he had not eaten dinner yet nor washed bottles or re-filled the formula containers so he tried to sit down to eat something and he said he was just too tired I think he only ate a couple of bites and said "forget this I am too tired" and went to bed. If you know Paul that's a huge deal to not eat his dinner...he loves to eat. I felt so bad for him. But he was off for 2 of the 4 days I was gone and he was loving spending all that time with Khloe alone, they had so much fun. They kept me so busy at the conference from 6:30am until about 11pm each night, I was exhausted but at least it kept my mind off of missing my family too much.

Well here are a few pics I have taken over the last week or so. The one with the small boy holding Khloe is my friend Heather's little one Danny Jr, Heather and I went to High School together. She was down in Atlanta visiting her cousins for the week. They came over and made us dinner and dessert on Friday before I left. That was so sweet of her to do. There are a few pics with Khloe's new oversi
zed bows her Granna sent to us, they are so adorable. I will try to take more pics this week with all of her new bows. Thanks Granna we LOVE them!

Notice her new green socks!

Khloe's 1st 4th of July

Well I made it through my first week back at work!! This was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. I can not believe how much my heart and my mind has changed over the last few months. I did not cry at all during work but the flood gates sure opened when I got home. Who knew such a tiny little person could pull at one's heart strings so much. I went to work every morning with puffy swollen eyes from crying the night before, thank god for eyeliner and mascara to hide the swollen eyes, I wonder if my employees noticed...LOL.

On Sunday July 4th we had some very old family friends of Paul's over Uncle Mugo and Auntie Debbie and and their kids Noni and Chui we grilled out and enjoyed the nice stories and company with them. We both really enjoy spending time with them. Uncle Mugo is such a funny and interesting man, I find myself giggling at almost everything he says!

Daddys week:
Well it has been an interesting week for Baba (Daddy) K. I have had to be strong for Julie and be there for Khloe too. I have tried hard to encourage Julie to stay positive as it has been hard for her going back to work; but as all you parents out there know, we now not only have to provide for ourselves but more so for our children (at least until their 18)! Jules has been a good sport though as the week went on she was better!
Khloe Bear was too cute this week ! My favorite moments are putting her down to sleep at night! A couple nights ago I was rocking her to sleep in her nursery and just as she was about to fall off she opened her eyes and just stared up at me and then started smiling ear to ear! She then drifted off with a big smile on her face as if to say its ok daddy's here! Ohh boy -- she really pulled at my heart strings that night it was sooo adorable! Keep the story a secret everyone - I don't need it coming back to me when she's 16 and asking for that new mustang! lol!

She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to watch her mobile on her swing... just smiles and laughs at it all the time! We couldn't resist snapping all these photos with her 4th of July outfit on!
