Khloe is eating cereal & Veggie's now

Ok not too much news to add this week except that we have started Khloe on Veggie's. She tried her first jar of peas and carrots today! She loved both of them, which is great news! I had so much fun watching her experience the peas and carrots for the first time....she made me laugh so hard! Of course she has always been a great eater from day 1 so I wasn't too worried about trying all these new things with her. There are a couple of sweet pics of her eating some oatmeal (I don't think she liked oatmeal so much) and of course I had to get one of her with a messy carrot face...I think mommy needs to work on aiming for her mouth a little better, LOL! I will get the hang of this soon! I have also added a few pics of her jumping in her excer-saucer today while I was talking to Granna on the phone. She is so funny when she is playing in this. Also a couple of pics with Paul's 2nd Cousin Angela (Njoki) who is 16 and so great with Khloe...she had Khloe belly laughing at her. We are just loving every second we get with our little angel! Enjoy the few pics!

Our little Khloe is 4 months old!

Ok so we have a lot of new info to share about our little peanut. She had her 4 month appt. on Tuesday and got her 2nd round of shots. (she is now weighing in at 16 lbs and 26 1/2 inches..90th percentile for height and weight: perfectly proportioned ) She did much better this time, daddy helped to distract her and it worked until the 2nd shot was in her leg then she started to cry. She did run a fever with these shots which was pretty scary for us. The daycare called on Wednesday and said she had a 101.8 temp when I heard that I was grabbing my purse and was out the door to pick her up. She was so lifeless she could hardly muster up a smile when she saw me, her eyes were so glossy it broke my heart. But she is fine now after a few rounds of baby Motrin.
I'm not sure if you can tell from the photos but she is starting to grow more hair on top and it's sort of a light brown color. The Dr. suggested we start her on cereal so we did. We have started with the rice cereal, then this weekend we will move her to the oatmeal, then after a few days we will move her to Barley. From there we can start her on some orange & yellow veggie puree, and see how she does and so and and so forth. It was so cute to see her try the rice cereal from the spoon, her little tongue was rolling around and then she acted as if she was gagging I was laughing so hard!
Paul put together her "exer-saucer which is really neat it has all these different jungle animals and noises when you move or hit the animals. My friend Monika from NY got her that for a baby gift...and she loves it! The first time we put her in it she was mesmerized by all the sounds and lights and objects she was really starring at the animals as if to say "ok, how can I get that in my mouth" She was so content. We have also been trying to give her more tummy time so she can sit better on her own. We got some sweet pictures of her having tummy time tonight. She is also trying to help me hold her bottle most times, it's so cute to watch her try! I have also added a few pics of Khloe in her "K" outfit my sister April got her, it almost looks like a cheerleading outfit on her...ADORABLE! Thanks Aunt April. Oh, for all of her Auntie's out there please take note of what her Purple outfit says!! Love you guys, I will update again soon!

Khloe meets her uncle Tom from Canada

Well this past week has been very hectic for everyone. We had Paul's brother Tom in town for about 4 days and his visit went very good. It was his first time meeting his very fist niece. Khloe just cooed and smiled at Tom as often as she could.
We have changed her formula still Enfamil but a different type for babies who spit up more than 5 times a day it called "Enfamil AR" from the ingredients it has some rice added in which is supposed to help with the constant spitting up....IT WORKS FOR SURE! She has done so much better on it this last week. One day she actually made it through a whole day at "school" in the same outfit she left the house in...AMAZING!
She is now sitting up much better, not completely on her own yet, the first few pics are of her in her Bumbo chair her Aunt April gave us from Cole. It has a much higher back which helps to support her sitting up....She is getting to be such a big girl. She is still such a happy baby, laughing and smiling at everyone and everything....we couldn't have asked for a better baby, Thank you GOD! That's all for now!
